gianm commented on issue #6920: Kafka indexing service - unable to create datasource URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-druid/issues/6920#issuecomment-458618087 `druid_datasource` records will show up when the first transactional segment publish happens. It's possible that, for some reason, your ingestion isn't getting that far. If you have FAILED task logs I think they're going to be the best place to look for clues.
