glasser opened a new pull request #7048: Make IngestSegmentFirehoseFactory splittable for parallel ingestion URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-druid/pull/7048 To use an ingestSegment firehose with parallel ingestion, specify taskGranularity in the firehose's spec. There is no default; index_parallel will warn and fall back to sequential ingestion inside the supervisor if taskGranularity is not set.
