That works for me. I'll start with MIN, so the first PR brings in the shared pieces too, like the string base class for null handling, the UTF-8 byte comparison and the character safe truncation, along with the stringMin aggregators, the SQL wiring for MIN on VARCHAR and its tests. Then the MAX PR can build on that and stay small, mostly the max side of the aggregators and its own tests.
