Two pieces of native code are never used. `cpp/core/utils/ArrowStatus.h` has a two-argument `arrowGetOrThrow(arrow::Result<T>, const std::string&)`. Nothing calls it, and its body calls `ThrowPendingException`, which is not declared anywhere, so it only compiles because the template is never instantiated. `VeloxHashShuffleWriter::complexTypeFlushBuffer_` is resized to one null pointer per partition and never assigned. Both complex-type flush paths therefore always allocate a new buffer, the `Reserve` branch meant to reuse it never runs, and the loop in `estimatePartitionBufferBytes` that adds its capacity always adds nothing.
