### What would you like to be improved? When the Gravitino server refuses a request, the Trino connector reports it as `GENERIC_INTERNAL_ERROR` (`INTERNAL_ERROR`). This applies to authorization denials (`ForbiddenException`), such as a `loadTable` or `dropTable` without privileges, and to illegal object names (`IllegalArgumentException`), such as `9lives`. These are expected refusals, not server faults, and classifying them as internal errors misleads users and pollutes internal-error monitoring. ### How should we improve? Map `ForbiddenException` to `PERMISSION_DENIED` and `IllegalArgumentException` to `GRAVITINO_ILLEGAL_ARGUMENT` in `CatalogConnectorMetadata`, keeping the server's message. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
