mchades opened a new pull request, #14143:
URL: https://github.com/apache/gravitino/pull/14143

   ### What changes were proposed in this pull request?

Add schema-level metric discovery through the dispatcher pipeline and REST
API, with public API/DTO contracts and OpenAPI definitions.

Each mode uses a single SQL statement to read metric identities or current
snapshot metrics. Results are sorted deterministically, filtered by
containing-model visibility, and accompanied by pre/success/failure events.

   ### Why are the changes needed?

Discover metrics without loading complete Semantic Models, following #14038
under #14036.

Depends on #14141, which depends on #14139. This draft currently includes
their commits and needs rebasing after they merge.

   Fixes #14142.

   ### Does this PR introduce _any_ user-facing change?

   Adds GET
/api/metalakes/{metalake}/catalogs/{catalog}/schemas/{schema}/semantic-model-metrics
with details=false (default) for identifiers and details=true for complete
definitions.

SemanticModelCatalog gains compatible default methods. Java/Python client
and MCP implementations will follow separately.

   ### How was this patch tested?

491 focused tests passed across API, common, core, server, H2, MySQL, and
PostgreSQL, covering projections, committed reads and rollback, lifecycle
changes, authorization, DTOs, and events.

   Ran API/common/server tests and
coreUnitTest/coreH2Test/coreMySQLTest/corePostgreSQLTest with Semantic Model
filters, plus metric response and authorization interceptor tests, using
-PskipITs -PskipDockerTests=false.

OpenAPI build, API/common/core/server Javadoc, Spotless, and git diff
--check passed.
