Quick update from my side: I've also worked on this locally and have a complete implementation of the Python policy operations ready — built to match the Java client's behavior, with the full client-python unit suite passing (1,387 tests) and lint clean. It's split the way @mchades suggested above: API/DTOs first, then client operations and tests. @pithecuse527 — I saw your note from Oct 13 and I don't want to step on your work. I haven't seen a PR come through yet, so if you're still planning to take this on, I'm happy to step back. If it's free, though, I'm ready to open the first PR right away.
