yuqi1129 opened a new pull request, #14493:
URL: https://github.com/apache/gravitino/pull/14493

   ### What changes were proposed in this pull request?

Traverse PostgreSQL dependencies, refuse cascading drops with external
dependents, and perform relation locking, validation and DDL in one transaction
with rollback on failure.

   ### Why are the changes needed?

PostgreSQL DROP SCHEMA CASCADE removes dependent views and foreign-key
constraints in other schemas. Gravitino defines the cascade operation as
removing objects within the requested schema, so the native DDL can remove more
than the API describes.

   Fixes #14492

   ### Does this PR introduce _any_ user-facing change?

Cascading schema drops with external dependents return a schema-not-empty
conflict naming the dependencies. Contained cascading drops continue to succeed.

   ### How was this patch tested?

PostgreSQL Docker schema-operation tests for preserved external
views/foreign keys, rollback and successful contained drops. All selected tests
passed on apache/gravitino main (90da2776a): 3 tests, zero failures. Spotless
passed.
