Michael Jumper commented on GUACAMOLE-417:
------------------------------------------

The VNC protocol does not provide a means of running remote commands within the
session, and adding the ability to run commands via SSH (which would be
independent of VNC) after the VNC connection succeeds is too much of a hack. If
you want to isolate a VNC session to a particular command, you will need to
either (1) use a solution like XRDP which has the necessary session management
features or (2) configure your VNC server ahead of time to run solely the
desired command instead of a full desktop session.

> I would like to launch a command in the -client- server when VNC connection
> is established. Mainly via SSH. Something similar to the SFTP thing but with
> SSH params.
> Also will be interesting to expose environment variables to this command like
> user, connection_name, role, org...
> The use case is to customize the remote app.
> Thanks!
