Review Comment:
   Correct, so `NonThrownExecutor` in `CompactFunction` uses a 
`Executors.newSingleThreadExecutor()` internally, it will handle the event one 
by one. 
   
   Totally agree with you, `collector.collect(...)` is not thread safe, it's 
better if `CompactFunction` can implement the method `asyncInvoke` in the 
interface `AsyncFunction`.
