--> This is true.
However, concurrent requests to the timeline server from multiple Spark
executors can trigger concurrent execution of
`ensurePartitionLoadedCorrectly(partitionPath)` for different partition paths,
which can cause the bootstrap index mapping to be concurrently updated. This
is unsafe if the map is not concurrent hash map, even when the map keys are
different.
