@codope : already all existing tests assert for supported types given a list of cols. TestColStatsIndex already asserts for cols indexed. when I put out the patch to make partition stats default, I plan to add more tests for partition stats in which I will be adding similar assertions -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
