   1. the `#sync` is invoked for each request API if the local timeline is 
inconsistent with the remote one, that is where the write lock of `#sync` is 
requested;
   2. Updated the diagram, the thread2 (holds a write lock) can modify the 
state of thread1 (when the query is in the read lock scope)
