I disabled metadata in the write client used for these commit operations
so it would not be synced. This way we could simulate timeline and metadata
being out of sync.

merged with the metadata table result. I'm not sure I'm able to see how we

Filter would be beneficial if we are looking for a specific key. However
case often when reading from metadata table is reading multiple keys so is
beneficial to have everything in this case
