This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage.
The report is a RuntimeException ('... is not a Parquet file. Expected magic
number at tail') while reading a base file, which points to a corrupt or
zero-length Parquet file rather than a reproducible Hudi defect; no
reproduction steps were provided. The proposed fix (19/Jul/2022) was never
submitted as a PR, and the JIRA (HUDI-4422) has had no activity since
2022-07-22 (over three years).
Closing as stale and insufficient to reproduce; please reopen with a
reproducible test case against a current release if this is still relevant.
