This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage (HUDI-9529). **Findings: the linked PR has not merged; keeping this open.** PR #13450 is still **open and unmerged**, so nothing has landed. Note the live PR is titled 'fix: Bloom Index can fail with async compaction' and carries no JIRA key in its title, so it will not be picked up by key-based searches - worth adding the key. This is a correctness bug (a runtime error from referencing a base file belonging to a scheduled-but-incomplete compaction), so it deserves priority over the refactor items in this batch.
