This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage (HUDI-6989). **Findings: the linked PR has not merged; keeping this open.** PR #9922 (`[HUDI-6989] Stop handling more data if task is aborted & clean partial files if poss`) is still **open and unmerged**, so nothing has landed.
