This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage (HUDI-6960). **Findings: the linked PR has not merged; keeping this open.** PR #9889 (`[HUDI-6960] Support read partition values from path when schema evolution enabled`) is still **open and unmerged**, so nothing has landed.
