Parent tracker: #4232. Implement the contract agreed in A across the SDK, plugin interface, and runtime. The runtime must distinguish a plugin accepting records from confirming their delivery. Acceptance criteria: - Delivery acknowledgments identify the covered source records and are validated against the current plugin instance and partition ownership. - Checkpoints advance only through a contiguous set of completed records in each partition. Later success cannot hide an earlier failure. - Acknowledgments cannot cover records that are only buffered, have incomplete required writes, or whose outcome remains uncertain. - Failed checkpoint requests preserve the distinction between completed delivery and persisted progress. Retries and restart remain safe when a commit response is lost. - Shutdown, cancellation, restart, and assignment changes preserve pending work for replay and prevent stale checkpoint updates. - Plugins lacking the required interface or semantics are rejected when the delivery guarantee is requested. - Regression tests cover acknowledgment scope, checkpoint gaps, and stale completions.
