@mariofusco I will try to recreate it in a separate project, as it threw this NPE in production in a very complicated scenario. Regardless of whether or not I am able to recreate this, I suggest this change be pulled anyway as it is very clear that this could throw an NPE anytime, and a similar check is also present in the deleteLeft() method below. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
