Also, should I be doing: pip install mxnet==1.5.0b20181209 or pip install mxnet-mkl==1.5.0b20181216? Basically, should we not look at mkl for the performance regression anymore or continue to use it? @wuxun-zhang Sure I can double check on my side. Is that gcc run with mxnet master branch? Also what commands are you using to change the gcc version on the ubuntu system?
