zheng-da commented on issue #8302: Refactor operators & MKLDNN URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-mxnet/pull/8302#issuecomment-357798062 @marcoabreu i can't modify any Dockerfile right now. It seems nvidia docker is completely broken. I tried a few different versions of their docker images, and all of them failed with the same right: the nvidia can't be installed. More specifically, these three packages can't be installed. nvidia-384 libcuda1-384 nvidia-opencl-icd-384 The installation errors are like this: ``` Setting up nvidia-384 (384.111-0ubuntu1) ... update-alternatives: using /usr/lib/nvidia-384/ld.so.conf to provide /etc/ld.so.conf.d/x86_64-linux-gnu_GL.conf (x86_64-linux-gnu_gl_conf) in auto mode update-alternatives: warning: skip creation of /usr/share/grub-gfxpayload-lists/blacklist/10_proprietary-graphics-drivers because associated file /usr/share/nvidia-384/nvidia-384.grub-gfxpayload (of link group x86_64-linux-gnu_gl_conf) doesn't exist update-alternatives: error: error creating symbolic link '/usr/lib/nvidia/alternate-install-present.dpkg-tmp': No such file or directory dpkg: error processing package nvidia-384 (--configure): subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 2 dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of libcuda1-384: libcuda1-384 depends on nvidia-384 (>= 384.111); however: Package nvidia-384 is not configured yet. dpkg: error processing package libcuda1-384 (--configure): ``` I tried other versions such as nvidia-387 and ended up with the same error. Have you got this problem before?
