So, even bt_shell cannot receive the 500 bytes without RTT configured (my observation). So, this further supports your observation above, which is that scheduler does not wake up at the right time when running my rx side code. My code is now configured for RTT, I will continue to remove code on my example code until it matches BT_SHELL behavior.
