Glenn Holmer commented on NETBEANS-539:
---------------------------------------
I don't know how much of this is significant, but here are the messages I'm
seeing in the NetBeans log when trying to profile the sample "AnagramGame"
project under JDK10:
WARNING [org.netbeans.core.startup.InstalledFileLocatorImpl]: no code name base
passed when looking up build.properties at
org.netbeans.modules.profiler.j2se.J2SEProjectProfilingSupportProvider.getProjectProperties(J2SEProjectProfilingSupportProvider.java:193)
WARNING [org.netbeans.TopSecurityManager]: use of system property netbeans.user
has been obsoleted in favor of InstalledFileLocator/Places at
org.netbeans.modules.java.api.common.project.ActionProviderSupport.verifyUserPropertiesFile(ActionProviderSupport.java:925)
WARNING [org.netbeans.modules.options.keymap.LayersBridge]: Invalid shortcut:
org.openide.loaders.XMLDataObject@7a01c5f3[MultiFileObject@4a44265f[Actions/Help/master-help.xml]]
INFO [org.netbeans.modules.parsing.impl.indexing.RepositoryUpdater]: Refresh of
custom indexer ([text/x-java]) for root:
file:/home/cenbe/NetBeansProjects/AnagramGame/test/ forced by:
org.netbeans.modules.java.source.indexing.JavaCustomIndexer$Factory@31aa22
> Profiler Not Functioning on JDK 10
> ----------------------------------
>
> Key: NETBEANS-539
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-539
> Project: NetBeans
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: profiler - Base
> Affects Versions: 9.0
> Reporter: Josh Juneau
> Priority: Major
>
> Testing the profiler with AnagramGame works fine with JDK8. However, if
> NetBeans 9 is running under JDK10, the profiler does not start when the
> “Profile” button is pressed. The text “Build Successful” is displayed in the
> output window.
