Matthias Bläsing commented on NETBEANS-305:
-------------------------------------------

The patch removed the offending modules and the modules depending on them. I
would have voted to keep the code, but then I'm totally uninterested in
discussing with the reviewer, that caused this (the email that caused all this
was IMHO badly written and unhelpful). As the code would just bitrot if it is
not build, I went down the easy road and removed the source code.

GPL references are ok as build dependencies, but not at runtime and for
hibernate and beansbinding both libraries as runtime dependencies.

I already wrote on the dev mailing list in context of hibernate: If someone
wants to revive the hibernate+beansbindnig modules, he can do it from the
Oracle Netbeans sources (CDDL/GPLv2CP) or from the removed sourcecode (ALv2).
The code was removed from master, not from history.
