On my Home PC when I'm opened some tabs Netbeans start refreshing indices
process and Check for external changes in parallel:

After about 5 minutes or so Refreshing indices process successfully completed
and also "Check for external changes Suspended" disappired

So as a result on my home PC all work just fine.

I am also used GitKraken in parallell at that time.
