Jon Anderson III commented on NIFI-828:
---------------------------------------
[~mcgilman] I'm having a bit of trouble with this. I'm certain it's just my
lack of Java script knowledge. I've been able to remove the dropdown box but
that breaks the searching (which makes sense because I haven't figured out how
to search both). Would it be possible to get some helpful pointers?
Am I correct in assuming the "applyFilter" function on line 99 is what
ultimately handles the searching? Or at least defines it? I see the
processorTypesData.setFilterArgs within that function and It seems to me that
references the "filter" function on line 147.
Am I on the right track or am I completely off? Just need a bit of a nudge in
the right direction (hopefully) to try and make a bit more sense of this.

> Update the default filter in the new processor dialog to use 'by tag' instead
> of 'by name'. A user will likely want to search for items using terms tagged
> on the processor rather than the formal processor name.
