Joseph Witt commented on NIFI-780:
----------------------------------
in my opinion it would not be worth it. The version scheme we have should mean
users can safely move from 0.2.1 to 0.3.0 and so on. Hotfixes i would hope end
up being only to deal with any gaps between releases where a blocking bug is
found.
Perhaps not for here but may be worth a general discussion - do you feel like
users will get 'too much' stuff they weren't wanting if they go up a minor
release number?

> Due to bumping the version of several dependencies in the top level
> dependency management section, the Solr NAR is now bringing in httpclient
> 4.4.1, but still using 4.3.x version of other http libraries. There are some
> incompatibilities resulting in NoClassDefFound errors.
