This for me is all the more reason to separate extensions from the release of
NiFI as soon as possible. The NAR and Template registry construct gives that
flexibility. I agree with you users will likely end up doing an a la carte
style thing with nars most likely anyway so let's make that easy to do. We
need the ability to move the framework rapidly along and keep a good release
cadence. Processors/Extensions in general make that much tougher. So if we
can clean that up plus give a better user experience that is kinda awesome.
