Ok thanks Andre.  Thanks for attaching the patch to help articulate your 
findings.  Those are definitely things we should address as part of one or more 
JIRAs to help tighten the permissions on directories or key files and to 
sufficiently isolate where files get generated.  But in the spirit of this JIRA 
0001/0002 seem to do the trick and will proceed with that in mind.

Thanks again.  Pushing these 0001/0002 in.
