Summary: Add details to reason messages of standard validators

The reason messages for the standard validators are vague and make it difficult
for admins/DFMs to diagnose certain problems. For intance, when one of our
processors has properties for two or three directories. If only one does not
exist it just says 'directory does not exist' but doesn't indicate which
property that was for.
