I've been looking into this (NIFI-691). I haven't been able to recreate the
issue. That archivedFileCount should be 0 if there are no archived files.
When you say that it never recovered, out of curiosity, how long did you wait?
It will only cleanup content claims when the FlowFile Repo checkpoints (which
by default is every 2 minutes). So I could understand it taking 2 minutes to
cleanup. Did you wait longer than that?
I would also be very interested in finding out what the archivedFileCount value
is.
You said when you restarted, it did resume flow processing "for a little while"
- does this mean that you were able to replicate the issue a second time?
