justinmclean edited a comment on issue #528: sched/mqueue: Correct/update license headers. URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-nuttx/pull/528#issuecomment-597485223 if the contributor has signed an ICLA then it's probably fine, changing the header doesn't change the copyright on who owns what. Apache asks for a transfer of copyright in this case and the committer has signed an agreement that means we can do this. Where the committer hasn't signed an ICLA we'll need to either a) ask then to sign one or b) leave the header as it c) ask for a software grant. If it only a small number of files then a ICLA is fine and a software grant is not needed.
