Of course there are also cons about our stack, being authored by Intel one of them. There is a sense in which the existing Bluetooth stack can never "be our own." It will always be third party code owned by Intel. Perhaps we will re-write certain bits of logic, but the overall stack will probably always be Intel's. A cooperative and friendly integration of nimBLE into NuttX "as our own", on the other hand, would probably put us in a better position. It is already ASF code.
