It is slow and expensive to get things from the US or Europe to Costa Rica. I have a forwarding re-shipper in Florida that is very convenient, but the US does not permit shipping electronics to a forwarding service. Normal shipping via FedEx, DHL, UPS is very pricey mostly because of customs-related issues.
