I see your point, but needPreProcess would open segment directories and
check segment versions as well which we don't need in cases of new segment
generations. But the same flow is used by segments whose crc changes. Are you
talking about just making sure we have right `needPreprocess` variable before
invoking it via load or just using
`ImmutableSegmentLoader.needPreprocess(segmentDirectory, indexLoadingConfig)`
method?
