@Jackie-Jiang I explored this some more, and a ping based solution sounds good and should satisfy all our criteria for detecting timeouts more robustly. I'll implement the ping so that the server answers on its Netty thread outside the query executor queue so that we can distinguish between dead server and busy server. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
