The invalid-decimal case ran after exhausting the cursor, accepted a wrapped NullPointerException, and could also pass without throwing. Position onto a valid row before reading the date column as a decimal, require SQLDataException, and verify its NumberFormatException cause. Preserve the complete positive decimal loop. Validation was run on the combined test-audit checkout at base `9de9e0115545`; this PR contains only the independent item above, with identical changed files and unchanged production dependencies. - PinotResultSetTest: all 17 cases passed. A current-source probe confirmed the exhausted-cursor case produces NullPointerException while the valid-row invalid-decimal case produces NumberFormatException. - Affected-module `spotless:apply`, `license:format`, `checkstyle:check`, and `license:check` passed. - Production/test compilation passed with `maven.compiler.showDeprecation=true` and `maven.compiler.showWarnings=true`; no compiler warnings on added lines. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
