@gortiz could you re-review this and #19711? Ordering is now guaranteed by the logical plan through a dedicated merge-receive node; mailbox markers and runtime ordering checks are removed. The version gate reads cached incremental cluster state, and explicit single-run sorts plus passive receive deadlines address the compatibility and timeout feedback. Randomized merge tests and the real two-server hybrid ROWS/RANGE comparison pass.
