   Is the `_consumerState` a string or a well-defined set of values? If we are
building an API, should we consider putting in a well-defined set of values in
there, so that we can build (say) a management platform?

   Also, is a map for the output better (instead of an array):
   ```
   {
   "testTable__0__1__20201204T2030Z" : {
     "idealstate" : "CONSUMING",
     "externalView" : "ERROR",
     "maxOffsetConsumed" : "somevalueComparable",
     "consumerState" : "CONSUMING" // Can be one of CONSUMING, CATCHING_UP,
BUILDING_SEGMENT, etc..(TBD)
   },
   "testTable__0__2__whatever" : {
   },
   .
   .
   }
   ```
