I think the two solutions are very similar. I am also inspired by the producer group that @sijie introduced. The difference is just how to make the producers a group(1. same producer name and group type 2. same producer group name). > 4. the failover group property would similarly be set on the producer group > 5. we don't need the concept of "exclusive producer group"s, as exclusivity can be achieved through the producer name, just as has been done before this PR I haven't fully figured out what the producer group type does, from the above description, it looks just indicate the producer groups.
