### Motivation
`mvn clean install verify -Powasp-dependency-check -DskipTests` found
various CVEs
### Modifications
Upgraded ElasticSearch to get rid of CVEs.
Had to update maven compiler plugin config, otherwise it was NPE-ing instead
of showing actual errors.
