   ### Which Issue(s) This PR Fixes

   Fixes #6747

   ### Brief Description

Explicit unavailable observations were removed before chart rendering, so
one polyline joined valid samples across a known gap. A single valid
observation only produced an invisible one-vertex polyline.

Build chronological chart segments that retain explicit unavailable values
as breaks, and render singleton segments as colored points. Scalar and
histogram trends remain separate. Do not infer missing intervals from time
spacing. Existing sample summaries, CSV output, histogram sum/count fallback
and duplicate timestamp ordering stay unchanged.

   ### How Did You Test This Change?

   - Baseline a92c2314: two real-component regressions fail, showing one line
across NaN and no visible singleton marker.
   - `cd web && npx vitest run
src/components/__tests__/MetricsExplorer.test.tsx
src/utils/metricsExplorerDiagnostics.test.ts --maxWorkers=1`: 87/87 pass.
   - Independent rerun of 32 utility tests and 3 new component cases: pass.
   - Cases cover NaN/infinities/blank values, mixed histogram/scalar data,
isolated points, arbitrary time spacing, duplicate timestamps, invalid
timestamps, and unchanged summary/CSV filtering.
   - Existing color test now checks both line strokes and singleton dot fills,
retaining its distinct-color assertion.
   - Changed-file ESLint, formatting, and `git diff --check`: pass.
   - `npm run build`: pass, including TypeScript and license check (132 actual
components,139 license files).
   - Node24.19.0. Full frontend suite, browser visual QA and Java tests not run
locally.
