Dolan Halbrook commented on ROL-1389:
-------------------------------------
I updated my plugins and the issue went away. Here is a log of the plugins I
updated, so it must have been an issue with an earlier version of one of them.
Unfortunately, I was a bit hasty and didn't update them one by one to isolate
the offending one, but anyways, if it comes up again we can cross reference it
with the list below try to narrow it down to one of these (any arlier version
than listed below, since these are today's updates):

My guesses for likely suspects are greasemonkey, firebug, html validator,
colorzilla, or web developer.
> Issue building user list in 3.1 RC8 on user admin screen
> --------------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: ROL-1389
> URL:
> http://opensource.atlassian.com/projects/roller/browse/ROL-1389
> Project: Roller
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: User Management
> Affects Versions: 3.1
> Environment: Win XP Pro, Firefox 1.5.0.11 using Adblock, Firebug, Web
> Developer plugins
> Reporter: Dolan Halbrook
> Assignee: Roller Unassigned
>
> I'm seeing a failure in the AJAX call to build the user list on the user
> administration screen:
> http://localhost:8080/roller/roller-ui/admin/user.do?method=edit&rmik=tabbedmenu.admin.userAdmin
> Firefox is showing an XUL permissions violation:
> [Exception... "'Permission denied to set property XULElement.selectedIndex'
> when calling method: [nsIAutoCompletePopup::selectedIndex]" nsresult:
> "0x8057001e (NS_ERROR_XPC_JS_THREW_STRING)" location: "JS frame ::
> http://localhost:8080/roller/roller-ui/admin/user.do?method=edit&rmik=tabbedmenu.admin.userAdmin
> :: onUserNameFocus :: line 432" data: no]
> Not sure if this is browser specific (IE seems to work fine, with the
> exception of two block characters at the end of the user's email address),
> but Firefox 1.5 is showing nothing.
> Also, this sort of thing is perfect for DWR :)
