Glen Mazza commented on ROL-712:
--------------------------------

This is not that important an enhancement, as the workaround is easy enough to
do. If I need to change a URL I just create a new blog entry with the desired
URL and copy the text from the old blog entry over, then delete the old blog
entry and set the publish date of the new blog entry to that of the old.
(Roller allows you to both predate and postdate blog entries.)

Your example "how-do-i-prevent-twit" should never happen, because you're first
supposed to choose the URL you want as the blog entry title, save as draft
(getting the URL you want immediately), and *then* type in your desired blog
title and then hit the publish button.

> Allow user to edit the weblog entry anchor, after all, a user can already
> change the permanent link of a post by changing the date (we do nothing to
> prevent that).
