Hi @zhangshenghang @corgy-w I re-checked the code and realized that without identifying the root cause of the stalled state transitions, defining a safe “force stop” mechanism is difficult (and potentially unsafe). I’d like to pivot this PR in the following direction: - remove the new stopJob and stabilize the existing cancelJob flow - add a timeout: if cancellation does not complete in time, fail fast so that callers can retry Would you be okay with this direction?
