@davidzollo @DanielLeens Created the STIP draft here: #11364. I kept the first pass focused on the model and API contract based on the feedback here: - snapshot progress and incremental lag are separate - raw connector offsets are preserved - restore/resume progress is included - no single universal lag number is assumed across connectors I have not started implementation yet. I will wait for feedback on the model shape, where it should live, and whether it should be exposed through existing metrics or a dedicated CDC progress API before opening code PRs.
