I agree with @nzw921rx on adding a small flowchart. For this STIP, a compact end-to-end diagram would help a lot more than extra prose alone. The most useful v1 diagram would show: 1. which signals are connector-reported 2. which fields are framework-computed 3. where checkpoint / restore visibility is attached 4. how the optional `cdcProgress` section is exposed in job detail 5. how connector-reported `STALLED` is distinguished from framework timeout-based `STALLED` I would keep that diagram scoped to the current v1 path, not a future full timeline/history design.
