Thanks for validating PR #11458 on the same failover setup. That is strong evidence that the current issue is really in the fixed-slot recovery path, and that the PR direction is matching the actual failure rather than only masking the earlier symptoms. Since PR #11458 is still open as of July 17, 2026, I would keep this issue open until the merge lands. But this thread now looks much closer to "fix in progress" than an unresolved reproduction. Once the PR is merged, please verify again against the merged `dev` build and confirm these two points: 1. the job returns to `RUNNING` after active-master failover 2. cancelling the job no longer leaves worker slots pinned If either symptom still reproduces after the merge, please update this thread and we can continue narrowing it down. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
