Hi @happybrant, thank you for working on the Dameng auto-create-table failure. Splitting CREATE TABLE and COMMENT statements is important for real Dameng deployments, and this PR helped surface that need. The equivalent fix, together with expanded regression tests, has since been merged through #10934 and is now present on dev. To avoid keeping two overlapping implementations, this older PR can now be closed as superseded.
